Cancellation of More Than 3.5 Lac Aadhaar Card By Govt.

Nearly 384237 Aadhaar Card numbers have been cancelled by the government because of the misuse that has been done by the operators. The operator has misused the biometric exception section and that why the Aadhaar Card numbers have been cancelled. The entire enrollment that is under the bio-metric exception section has been cancelled said by the Rajiv shukla in Lok sabha. A few operators have taken the advantage of the exception rule which has come in to the notice of UIDAI. To find out any type of irregularity all these enrollments were manually cross-checked said by Shukla.

UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi has asked political parties to welcome the direct benefit transfer scheme which is based on Aadhaar Card and also said to implement this program for the functioning of the transaction process. She said that the DBT scheme success depends on the central and state government participation and the state parties should have interest in developing and implementing this scheme in their states. She also added that the DBT scheme based on Aadhaar Card will ensure transfer of benefits to the beneficiary effectively and it will also prevent leakages in the process.

There is no Aadhaar card in Rajnagar region of districts like Seriakala Kharsawan district; Jharkhand even though the ambitions DBT scheme based on Aadhaar Card has been in effect since from January 1. So the people are very angry for that.
